Licensed professional insurance agent that is responsible for developing and executing outbound sales efforts. In addition, this position is responsible for maximizing the number of customers that convert to Midwest Preferred policies from agents whose Madison Mutual contracts are terminated. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to following and administering marketing plans, follow-up calls, and mailings to drive new sales for all carriers. Meet expected sales conversion goals and targets in the projected time frame set.
• 2+ years of insurance agency experience
• Must hold current producer’s license
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficient computer knowledge
• Sales and goal oriented
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to solicit and sell policies from multiple carriers in an accurate and efficient manner
• Provide accurate quotes to customers from all carriers and convert them into accurate and complete applications after obtaining agreement to purchase.
• Close sales in a timely manner, keeping sales goals in mind.
• Ability to confidently discuss UW issues with customers and pivot customers to a different carrier or alternative coverage options when necessary.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Accomplish Midwest Preferred sales and policy in force goals by accepting ownership for effective administering of marketing and policy retention campaigns
• Assisting the marketing department with potential ideas for new campaigns to drive new sales and improved policy retention
Salary range - $47,800 - $59,000 annually
