·       Associate level/2-year college degree or sufficient progress towards Bachelors/4-year level degree

·       General computer knowledge, including Word and Excel type programs

·       Verifies coverage and identifies potential exposures and coverage issues

·       Investigates facts surrounding claims and documents all investigations to include scene investigations, statements, diagrams, police reports, etc.

·       Determines exposure and appropriate reserves

·       Maintains active diary and reporting

·       Reviews estimates and appraisals for settlement

·       Manages automobile repair process and manages rental exposure

·       Identifies subrogation possibilities and handles salvage disposal

·       Makes fair and equitable claim settlements within authority and requests approval from Manager for anything outside authority level
